So Chloe had Teddy fix everything?

And wonder how long Ilsa was out.

Well it doesn't look like Ilsa is going to get the upper hand since Teddy and Chloe are long gone.

So begins the next and final chapter so we'll find out what happened to Teddy DeCarlo and I'm also assuming Chloe and everyone else. Maybe the contract with Abby was nullified some other way... or maybe Ilsa was killed and resurrected a few times before she finally agreed. We'll see.

OK, not going to be a big reset switch, right? huh?

Bit weird Chloe didn't have God-Teddy fix Ilsa's outfit- I know splitting hairs, yet if the entire academy can be restored from rubble, then a minor detail like clothing seems like a needless oversight.
In the aside that Ilsa claims she will give "that girl" (presumably Chloe) a high grade, but I wonder if it counts as a *pass* if it was almost entirely accidental? I suppose that it could be consider be equivalent to guessing every answer in a multiple choice exam and managing to pass? Though, the comparison doesn't quite hold up because it seems as though Slash-Stab was aware of Chloe's, in hindsight, hilariously unintentional efforts to thoroughly corrupt souls; perhaps Ilsa is entertaining the notion that Chloe was pulling a long con, even against her, which would make sense why she would feel proud of her student for evil genius.

Anyway, the update does feel a bit like the easy option was taken - the magic wand wave to make everything fine - but I'll admit a tidy easy route is probably better than a convoluted difficult one; plus, no smut in the finale, which is something for this series. (Not counting the panty shots because even I'm not that scathing... I mean, I'm mentioning them but only for sake of making note)

The name of the chapter suggests that the world would be returned to its normal state, sans Teddy and Chloe, or at least without Teddy; whether or not only the closest people will remember, or if anyone will remember them at all, is still an uncertainty.
Well, the simple answer to the question of the chapter name is that Chloe accidentally introduced some destructive elements into Teddy's life, but his own arrogance, sanctimony, and lust lead him/her/them/it into seizing every terrible decision available, which made everything worse than what the active demons were trying to do. I guess the existence of magic and the ineptitude of Heaven contributed?

I wish they would tell us why she left the kids, especially with someone that's never home.

God damnit. Seriously, if the next pages are a flashback to show what happened between the previous page and this one, why? There's no reason to start with this and then go back. A flashback would not be preferable to just having shown the results linearly.

Chloe deserves all the As from Slash-Stab because she managed to so thoroughly ruin Teddy that even the forumgoers hate him and blame him for everything and forget that, chronologically speaking, this all started with Chloe drugging Teddy's and Abby's dad and their aunt into sleeping with each other, breaking up their parents as a result, oh, and permanently brainwashing Jacqui for good measure. Now THAT is an impressive succubus.

Yeah and to this day Teddy's mom believes Lance and her sister willingly betrayed her.

I don't think it was ever mentioned if Teddy's mom and her sister where able to patch things up. That whole thing was just forgotten.

Final Chapter eh?

the webcomic business isn't doing well. they're closing it all up pretty much.

they may do shorts in the future, but they're focusing on paying work from now on

Yeah it's a bummer. Between EC-verse and PMS/VC, there was some fun updates and forum banter. I'll miss it.

I just wish we could bring it back more somehow

WAAAAYY too early to comment on how this is going to unfold. It might be interesting that it not be flashbacks but Isla encountering a strange new world in Hell and the Upper World (Earth) and then investigates what happened to explain the changes.
