i dont think he is the angel of death.. i think he was playing the part of it...

and i feel really sad about this page annie always gave and never took anything.. just like how it is to be a wiccan/druid{ thinking that there should be a better outcome in this comic for her i mean she is always helping and now she seem to have lost everything and everyone and all she got was pair of feathery wings for her reward.}

i really hope she can get some reward for helping and sacrificing everything to help the loved ones that she lost, but in my teachings{ from my parents are druids{ i kid not} i seem to recall that rewards are always there regardless of how much you give, sometimes the smallest reward can be the biggest} i hope this happens to annie.

So the physical manifestation of the decay and destruction of carbon based life forms hangs around what is essentially a secondary school?

He's probably outsourced to an Indian reaper center and now has too much spare time on his hands. :P

But so far, none of this explains why Annie was a vampire. And now a dark angel.

I think the point of this arc is that Annie never was a vampire, but rather was a dark angel. She either subconsciously or consciously suppressed the fact that she was a dark angel, and appeared to be a vampire so as to fit in better at the vampire school.

The big clue (IMHO) that she was never a vampire was her being a vegan. When she forced herself to drink blood, it shocked her system and made her reveal her dark angel status (whether she suppressed it or deliberately hid it.)

I think that last part might be revealed in strips to come.

Teemo: She got much more than just a feathery winged reward. She has made a bunch of good friends that love her and she has a new life ahead of her. She had nothing left in the mortal realm, now she has much to look forward to.
