1. I made out with a girl once after a skillful rendition of "Everyday" by Buddy Holly at karaoke.
2. Of the branches of chemistry, biochemistry is my favorite.
3. I use my cell phone for nothing but phone calls and text messages. That's it.

Incorrect! #1 is truth. And there is a such thing as skillful karaoke, if the girl makes out with you in a side room afterwards.

Cyanide_sweet is correct and for the right reason! I'm kind of luddite, that I ONLY use my phone for phone calls and the occasional text message. I don't use the internet on it, I don't use it as a music player, I don't fight cyber programs that are loosely based on MegaMan characters on it, I just use it as a PHONE.

Sorry, Miss Vavavavoom, but I DO have a Village People CD in my music collection. Granted, it's a "Best of" CD, but it still qualifies. I can remember a time (somewhere back in the late Seventies) when they had some mainstream success; I guess I still have some lingering memories of the music when I was a kid (which also explains a few Bee Gees albums).

Which leaves two . . .

Sorry AGAIN, Miss Vavavavoom, but posseforlife got it. I've never played that particular game (or any of the games IN that compilation), either on the SNES (the system that particular compilation was originally released for -- a console that I never owned, BTW), or any other console or handheld. I'm not a Nintendo fan (only owned a GameCube and a few handhelds from them), and, unless you count Donkey Kong (which I vaguely remember playing a few times in the arcade) or SSBM (had it for the Cube; didn't care for it, traded it in), I've never played a Mario game in my life. (Series didn't interest me)

As for the movie, . . . I've certainly watched plenty of films over the years/decades. And there's quite a few films from the 30's and 40's that I've seen and enjoyed (Casablanca, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Captain Blood, M, Arsenic and Old Lace, . . . just to name a few). The Third Man, however, is one that I REALLY got into -- to the point where I STILL have two DVD copies AND a Blu-ray (that's right -- TRIPLE-DIP). If someone were to ask me what my favorite movie of all time is, I'd have a hard time answering. But if they asked me what my favorite old classic might be (and assuming the "1950 or older" definition), it would be THIS one.

Dang, correct. Maki sushi is actually my number 2 favorite meal. My number one favorite meal is Corned Beef brisket. Mm.

The other two are true. My grandfather did teach me what I consider the most important lesson about life, about 30 years after his death. He was a Marine Corp sergeant who fought in both the Pacific Theatre of WWII and also in the Korean War, and in both saw more carnage than anyone should. However, he not only survived both wars, but he managed to do it without significant injury, which is pretty impressive since he was at Iwo Jima. What ended up killing him was complications from diabetes, not on a battlefield, but in a hospital bed near Lake Placid, NY. Reading about his life in the journals he kept and the nature of his death taught me that any damn fool thing can kill a person, so the only thing worth doing is making sure you've lived everyday as well as you can manage in the limited time alloted to you and leaving behind a monument. Not matter how rough things may seem, it's still always worth getting up and going, because you never know when you won't have the chance anymore, and hey, at least Chinese Communists aren't shooting at you, right?
