Keep in mind that episode 1 and 2 happen over the course of 2 days in September. Episode 3 picks up a week or so later with the guys basically having avoided the girls for a while. Episode 5 is a bit later in mid-October.

I still think he likes it, and that is somewhat evident with part of his dislike for Carlo.
