I don't think she would care because in a way that is one of the ways she can truly say to the others who might like him too "He's mine back off". Though they might not show it I do think some of the other girls like both Sandy and Alex.

If there is I think part of it is Elle trying to protect Morgan and part is Elle being jealous.
