I must wonder why. Not that Maria is anywhere close to being my favorite character (so it doesn't matter to me who she likes), but does Sandy have any redeeming qualities whatsoever, at least insofar as the comic has revealed?

Perhaps he's like the knight in shining armor for saving them all from the power of THE HAIR.

I always thought Sandy and Jessica would be cute. But Maria and Sandy is more realistic, I guess.
