The special might be done by then, but they wouldn't release it to boxed set buyers before it airs to the public would they? The boxed set release dates -- 11/4 & 11/5 -- are well ahead of either of the upcoming specials.

Don't get me wrong, the boxed set looks very nice. I guess the seventh series proper is done, so they can still say it has "the complete seventh series." It just doesn't feel complete with that big cliffhanger about to pay off so soon.

...so soon. :-ss

JESUS CHRIST NOVEMBER WOULD YOU HURRY UP AND GET HERE! ~X(

*ahem* Sorry. :ymblushing:

I have an extremely important question for ya'll. Do any of you like Chris aka Doctor Number Nine.

He's not my favorite, but he's not bad, why do you ask?

I actually wanted him to hang about longer than he did.

It's difficult for me to like or dislike any particular Doctor. Each of them are endearing in their own way

And he still doesn't have the shortest screen time of any Doctor. That honor goes to Paul McGann- who got a total of 1 hour 4 minutes of screen time.

Longest was Tom Baker, though, who clocked in at 71 hours 34 minutes of screen time.

The order for screen time is T. Baker, Hartnell, Pertwee, Troughton, Tennant, Smith, Davison, McCoy, C. Baker, Eccleston, McGann, Hurndall, Hurt, and Capaldi.

Richard Hurndall played the First Doctor in the 20th Anniversary Special The Five Doctors. He had less than an hour's worth of screen time. John Hurt plays the Doctor in the upcoming 50th Anniversary episode and has had a grand total of a minute's worth of screen time. Peter Capaldi, who takes over for Matt Smith as the Doctor, has yet to show up on screen.

He was my favorite before Matt Smith came in as 11. Tennant was always a little too bombastic for my taste. :-??

Still haven't seen any classic Who, so I don't have an opinion about any of the pre-revival Doctors.

You really should. While some of the adventures are pretty corny and the special effects are atrocious sometimes, some of the best adventures happened in the Classic Era like the Key of Time saga. Peter Davison certainly brought a lot to the series as well. Heck, Neil Gaiman isn't the first famous author to write for Doctor Who- Douglas Adams of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fame wrote three episodes. Unfortunately, Shada was never completed.

Because he seems to get so much hate! I don't understand why! Don't get me wrong, I love David and Matt but I adore the ever loving crap outta Chris! He was the person who really got me into Doctor Who
