He's doing some work in another country right now that's been keeping him busy.
Do you think the NML omnibus would be a collection of the first two volumes, all original works or both?
If we do an omnibus in 2009, then it'll be a collection of No Man's Land Vol. 1 & 2, for sure. It's too early to say if there'll be anything else included.
The omnibus sounds like an awesome idea, especially if it had some little extras in it.
... I wonder, if they decide to not finish the manga if they would ever post the rest of their story in script (or a story, but script is easier and just fine) form, so we don't have brain explosions from wondering what happened XDD
Jason had a storyline in mind that was going to play out in the scrapped flash animation series that was set between certain chapters in volume 1, but as far a third volume goes, there aren't any plans. It's really best to view the series as being complete.
Sadly, the market is in a very different place than it was when No Man's Land and Last Hope first started, and so are the creators. There was a point where I would bring up the subject of omnibus editions of No Man's Land and Last Hope and have them include some new content/chapters, but it's difficult to really guess how they would do in today's climate given that bookstores are scaling back their orders considerably.
That said... if there ever is a continuation of No Man's Land one of these days, it would be a complete relaunch.
Yeah, stuff happens though xD That would be awesome if atleast the omnibus came out with something extra, but I can understand with everything as crazy as it is right now. I would definitely pass up a day of food to buy it (pfft not that poor, but if I was I would xD) It is a great series. I've been planning to do a Parker cosplay too, I just totally didn't think about it again till recently or I would've tried to put it together for AX XP
Huh... I don't know where's the best place to post this... so sorry if i'm mistaking :s (i didn't want to make a new topic only for my post ._.)
I'm a french fan of No Man's Land manga and, in order to write to its authors to thanks them for this story, I felt on this forum (with the help of Ki-Oon, the french publisher :3)
I was wainting at the third volume with (im)patience and I was rejoicing to know the sequel of the adventures of No Man \o/ even if I have to wait about years o/
But what I can read (huh... and understand -_-) make me feel sad :( I was disappointed to have to considerate NML as finished, in spite of the sketches at the end of NML 2 (I was loving the new look of No Man).
I completely understand the reasons of this untimely end, of course (and i'm bearing with the authors :c), but I'm ... disappointed -_-. (and I can't stop myself to hope about a third tome ><, thinking I'm not understanding at all what i read on this forum and I'm missing some subtleties ._. hope is life)
I just hope we can see No Man again, even in a complete relaunch, and with Amanda (even if she's a ghost >>), Bill and the Bakerton :D ( I love how Doyle is a jerk :3)
I was making some fan art of NML (sometimes drawn with my feet, I think ._.), and i was believing that the new of the end will stop me... Actually, it's boosting me ^^°.
I don't know if this post will be read, but I'll let a link to fan arts later (and one is still in progress but i'll finish it one day \o/), and in the good topic o/ instead of flooding here.
Huh, and to finish... I apologize for my bad level in english, I didn't practice it for a moment, I have a big lack of vocabulary -_-. Sorry ><.
Ren, a talkative french fan who has some years of late o/
It's cool, foreign languages are difficult and you did a good job (I failed french so horribly I could not ever hope to post an even slightly understandable post in french @_@)
You know, I thought about it awhile back and I've kinda felt like doing a fanfic or doujin of sorts (I doubt the last one, because I'm laaazyyy XD) that's a continuation. Just for fun.
Lol I don't even care at this point if its totally off base and off track of where the story was supposed to go (which, I don't know anyway xDD), it would be just fun to keep the story going a bit in my mind. Even if it never gets revisted officially.

Thanks :D

I've been thinking of it, too ! :D So i keep on thinking of it nowadays, though. Uh... And I'm lazy too >_> But... what about a collaboration for a dounjin :3 ? [small] I promise I will not take two months to response >>[/small] It can be fun :3 I have some stuff ( Is it the right word?) in mind, but i don't know where to go with and I'm not able to put it correctly in order to make a story from the beginning to the end >>.
So, I take any suggestion ^^".

It would suck to not have Jennyson's fantastic artwork but I would LOVE to see more of anything! I'm a huge fan of Spaghetti Westerns and NML is so much fun.
On a side note, I can't believe Jennyson favorited one of my fan pics! You rock, Jennyson! :happyhappy: :happyhappy:
