She can't have, she was still present in the future after Suki and the others had been transported away from Lita's World. She ate a lizard person.

A couple of interesting possibilities:
a) if Katie, Leonard and Suki are immediately transported to another time / place, then Lorna will have to self-discover vampire basics (ouch!);
b) if they aren't and Suki's still out of it, Leonard might have to call upon the information he learned while a vampire thrall to give Lorna her Vampire 101.

I think they have gone on their merry way, which leaves us with the branching paths of staying with Lorna for a page or two, or seeing where our trio is off to next. And is the 'egg' hatching?

I don't think it's far back enough in the past. The golden age of piracy was in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
