Okay..........so does she lay eggs or has rapid birth?

well, you see, each Mothman works hard to produce the necessary ingredients for a Moth Egg. and once it is made, he is drawn to his Queen as if she were a candle flame. he approaches meekly and slowly begins to dance. if he should catch her gaze he starts to become more and more bold with his motions and eventually the Queen may embrace him. if he is truly lucky, she blesses his newly made egg with a kiss. a kiss so passionate and divine that the egg begins to vibrate with life. he leaves her lair in the morning and returns to his nest, swearing to keep the egg warm for the next few weeks until a new Mothborn appears and fills his home with happiness.

so from her sort of blank stare, we can pretty much guess that she's either being mind-controlled or has gone completely crazy.

It's the try it before you buy it part that seems questionable here. Being forcibly taken from your family at the peak of a well earned celebration and turned into something you've hated (a cryptid) against your will so you can be a brood mother is what we've seen so far, and yet Stephanie doesn't seem bothered by this at all (and in fact appears to be enjoying herself) when we see her again. So I guess now we'll have to get her side of the story, but so far, to me at least, things seem suspect, which I think is reasonable considering the wackiness every other *bloop* has turned into so far.

Then again, I wasn't expecting a lesbian leg humping scene, and that happened, so......
