Talk about irony. To think the girl who once dedicated her life to hunting and killing cryptids, has gone from finally accepting all cryptids aren't inherently evil, to becoming queen of an entire brood and actually leading them in battle. Wow. That's some serious character development.

Which is probable, given Steph's been missing for around 4-5 months in Leonard/Katie/Suki's time, though there's no way of knowing how much time had passed for Steph, prior to them finding her. For her, it may have already been years by that time.

And she was breeding with the mothmen when they found her, which Katie and Suki both pointed out. So did Steph. So, chances are, the eggs in the nursery are hers along with any she may be carrying now.

Actually, all they pointed out was that Steph had been screwing the mothmen. Nothing was said about her giving birth or laying eggs.

Not to mention how easily she's been thrashed every time she has gone up against then, and that was in wolf mode. Even when in a roaring rampage of revenge she wasn't able to do more than injure one.

Whatever their reasons were for abducting her, Steph needed convincing before she went along with it, because she said she had resisted for a long time. If all they needed was a leader, I doubt it would've taken much to get her onboard, since she was already leading a group of cryptids by that point (i.e. 'PMS').

But can you imagine them telling her she'd been chosen because they needed a strong female to serve as their new queen; up to, and including, breeding with them? She wouldn't even let J.C. hit it, so you can imagine how she must've reacted to a race of mothmen wanting her as their breed mare.

For all we know, screwing the mothmen is just a "side benefit." I'm not discounting the possibility of her being a queen in the insect sense, I'm just saying that people seemed to have gotten convinced that's the case where there isn't much evidence of it.

If banging the mothmen was all fun 'n games for her, she wouldn't have said it was her duty.

I can't speak for anyone else, but looking at the situation in context, that seems to be the implication.

Too bad I still don't feel that much sorry for the mothmen, even with their reasons of being wiped out...I'm sorry Gotoh and everybody, but it was a bit of a punk move abducting her and then just splash out enough info for her to be convinced, simply because that they are going to die out soon without a queen. I know they mean well, but there's other candidates, but due to story reasons it has to be Stephanie. I've no problem with that, unfortunately that doesn't mean I'm going to let it go with mothmen that easy, I'm still looking at them with slight disdain as unfair as that may be. Maybe in the next couple of months, besides, I just finished Drakengard 3, and I feel more for the MC and the dragon of that game a lot more than Mothmen at this point. That's my opinion and not even anybody who is speculates stuff and is right after calling it out, will not deter me that easily. But enough about Stephanie Kane, some of us may have a good idea where it is going to go as you can see the resolve with her eyes, even though we are speculating and they haven't posted the next page yet.

I'm only wondering this much: 1. What is going to happen to the PMS, now that Steph is queen now. Will they disband? or will Katie take over in Steph's place?, let's not forgot that after this those three are to return to the very point where they disappeared into their own adventure in the first place, that assuming that things stay the course that it is in.

2. We did see a lot of people, but that's only what happened in the future in certain parts, save things that happened in the past due to the three's interference possibly, for instance, Lori who had had entire background change from the vampire who originally turned her to Suki. So the question of what has changed in the past is already obvious. But the future is not yet set in stone by the time they get back, although with changes due to the past. We know that back in the present Charlotte was there and Lita too, who then went off on her own.

3. It is just a slight concern, but Katie did just go all this way, and it wasn't easy, will there be a chance for her to see her sister soon after this? Maybe that's a question that could be left to imagination...and fanfics.
