I thought that those two had got some kind of general idea about Ruby's sensitivities. Oh well, comedy cluelessness kicks in to keep her annoyed. The problem being that what they think of as an honest attempt to be nice to Ruby is not only going to feel embarrassing to her, but is going to feel like them laughing at her. (I've been in comparable situations enough to understand just how angry Ruby will be getting.) And it doesn't seem to have sunk in with Amber that Ruby isn't just quiet and reserved, but is actually a virgin - talk about narrow assumptions...

I assume that Ruby gave away at some point that she heard what she heard the night before, so Dillon is no longer trying to preserve that secret. I was going to query how Amber could have had sex on that bed "lots" if she hasn't been getting much lately, but I guess she must have brought it from her previous accommodation.

Ruby is certainly still being stuck without anyone she can talk to about her problems. Her best hope might be to bump into Jerzy on his own soon (or Jerzy's sister?).

I'm nowhere near a prude, but I can't help but feel just a little grossed out by both Amber and Dillon in this strip.

On Dillon's part - he seriously thought Ruby would want the cock ring back after Jerzy used it to plow him? Who shares their sex props? EW! Just nasty!

And Amber and Dillon both - nobody needs to be made aware that you spooged in the bed they're sleeping in (yes, the sheets are no doubt washed; but a mental image of people getting messy together (one of them being your sister) in the place you lay your head every night is just - BLAH! There are just some things that should really be kept to ones self in polite company (especially in the company of someone you know full well is uncomfortable when it comes to sex).

I'll agree with all that, but we already knew from way back in Ma3 that Dillon had very little tact and a lousy sense of boundaries, while Amber's judgement is doubtless scrambled by the company she's been keeping the last few years - as even she just about recognised early on.

The annoying thing is that neither of them seem to be recognising this, even faintly. Ruby made her feelings about sex and her fastidiousness very clear to Amber the night she arrived, which is why she ended up in Dillon's room, and even Dillon saw Ruby insist on switching seats in the van the moment she heard what had happened in it. Even though Dillon interrupted and accidentally stopped Ruby telling them she was a virgin, and even if they can't understand how Ruby feels because of how they are, they should see she does feel that way. But she's right; neither of them listen to her for a moment. They're being written as comedy stupid, and I end up wanting to reach through the screen and slap them.
