Stay strong, Dillon.
I don't find new manga smell that good. Big books, new and old, smell great. Manga have a sharp smell of plastic at first. Though that might be regional, of course.

Mmm. I love books for their content, not their physical form, but even aside from that, I don't believe that there's a single "new book smell". I assume that they mostly smell of the adhesive used in their bindings, which could doubtless vary a lot.
(Plus of course real deluxe editions can smell of leather. Which is a nice smell, but is also available from expensive luggage and decent shoes.)

It depends on the material. The cheaper ones printed on "newspaper" smell like, well, newspaper. I've bought some deluxe editions that smelled like a normal book.Error of Logic wrote:Stay strong, Dillon.
