by fact he said his character had great stats......................... it might mean that the game has specific stats for certain characters, that there is no "making your character physically as you want, and put stats as you want it" ( or at least the "start up character )

and the female character was one who had stats he liked

Remember that he had never tried this game system until now even if he has experience with different game systems and other games

That doesn't mean anything. I hadn't played 'Xenoblade Chronicles X' 'til the day I bought it, and the first thing it has you do is create your own character. Your stats are determined by the character class you choose and whatever armor you equip.

So it doesn't matter if Alex has never tried VR before. Making an avatar isn't rocket science. You fiddle around with the customization options 'til you're satisfied.

Not all games have Dark Souls or Skyrim levels of customisation. It might be that the VR game had pre-determined chatacters and stats and the class Alex wanted to play didnt have the option of a male equivalent.

Or Alex may just be in the habit of making his characters sexy game bimbos, for reasons previously discussed, and so does so every time in any sort of game. It's probably a point of pride with him to make each avatar the sexiest and most bimbo-esque vision the software permits.

This actually raises an interesting point - or it may just point out how ludicrously uninformed am.

Is this supposed to be a standalone game system, or is it an add-on, to, say, a PS4? Because as I read it, Alex's charakter is pretty high level (sexy game bimbo is slaughtering those orks like they're nothing), so did he import the character... Or is this just a game he knows well and has played a long time, now just differently projected?

Also, there is the question whether he needs high stats or just needs to "know the moves" - Eloise is unlikly to have any video game skills, so she might suck even against the "beginner's fodder mobs at the front gate of the safe zone".

someone who is completely new to playing that type of games, and has played for 3 months and was able to get to level 20, I can see that person be easily annihilated by someone who has played other games of that type for years, and is just level 2 ( as he breezed through the tutorial ) or if they are allies, level 2 killing 27 enemies easily while the level 20 just 3 barely

What really impresses me is that they were able to lock lips with the VR gear in the way. That just shows how much Eloise wanted to make out with a sexy, scantily clad, dark elf. Not that I blame her in that regard.

Nadine seriously should be in the room holding "You are Jean now!" sign.

To be fair, all this could do is make Alex think "Jean " is into guys or that Jean forgot the Dark Elf was Alex.

I mean... I've never been a hardcore gamer, but Second Life was definitely a gateway drug to MtF transition, and my SL avatars are slutty as fuck.

She knows it is Alex since the last panel at the previous strip Alex says so himself. Eloise relies too much on seduction in her career her mind is locked into that and her disguising as school boy complicates her mind, I guess.
