Actually, Jennyson took time off from NML to stretch his legs and try something different (Freerunners Vol. 1). He's nearly done with that and is ready to get back started on No Man's Land for the third volume.Mcwhirlpool inc wrote:wait....shouldn't it be 1 artist per manga. Making them a true mangaka. Otherwise if you have the same artist's doing more than 2 manga's and differn't writers for each one you might as well call these comics with a manga like theme.Adam Arnold wrote:It's really too early to give a set date, but it'll be sometime in 2007 as Jen's currently working on Freerunners Vol. 1. ^_^

Indeed, it's all in the person. Akira Toriyama draws almost too many comics at one time, while people like Kohta Hirano and Kentaro Miura put all their power into one comic at a time. Kentaro Miura has put a whole lot of his power into one title in particular. :happyhappy:
Jennyson might be like Akira, he just can't be tied down to one thing at a time. I half understand, I do a lot of computer work. Sometimes it's very refreshing to take a break from one thing, and devote all your time to another for a short time, then go back to your previous work in a whole new vigor.
Also, you can trust me I'm just as anxious as anyone else here for Vol 3, but I definitely want it to be the best that it can be.

He mentioned that on DA just a while ago :R
So is this a major hiatus for now?

This series needs some doujins.

When Chuck Norris sends in his taxes, he sends blank forms and includes only a picture of himself, crouched and ready to attack. Chuck Norris has not had to pay taxes, ever.

With Jason's focus on growing Seven Seas, and Jennyson working on a new project of his own, No Man's Land Vol. 3 is currently not in production.
That said, I have brought up the idea of us doing a No Man's Land Omnibus next year. It really depends on how the upcoming Aoi House and Amazing Agent Luna Omnibus do, but it is something that I've proposed.

I'm sad to hear this but I'm overly curious as to what Jennyson is working on now. Is this an original work or is he bringing one of his older comics for SS?
Do you think the NML omnibus would be a collection of the first two volumes, all original works or both?
