It sounds like you have a misprint, please return it to the store where you bought it and get a replacement.

The book should have a total of 296 pages.
Page 15 (which is in the honorifics guide) is the first page to have a number on it, and Page 293 (part of the translation notes) is the last one to have a number marked. The last page in the book itself should be a page about the author/artist.

I also have to buy it and wait the shippment, is just that i don't the correct credit card to do so, but someone else is going to buy for me; and the wait is gonna be painful
