As a photographer, I've seen my share of gorgeous women who are insecure about their looks, even one that makes a lot of money with her face and she thinks it's "kinda meh"... So Zadie being insecure about her body is not news to me...
And it's more blatant in the Ma3-verse where almost everyone is hot, for example, Sandra, a fashion model, was really insecure about her looks, always thinking about herself as plain, and waitressing alongside Didi (who got WW3-salary-like tips) didn't help, it took a lot of time for her to pose naked for Domenico...
