It is important to draw wisdom from different places. If you take it from only one place it become rigid and stale. ~Iroh
You can't make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others. ~Tarquin
The skin stretched and tanned, the striped suit sown into the flesh itself, the killer donned a new body, giggling to no one, "Wears Waldo."

Skip ahead an hour into the video. You won't miss anything. That's just Ken Ham's part.
I had to take a couple of breaks to not fall asleep from listening to that nonsense.

Comments from Reddit:
>"I loved how the cameraman always got the greatest shots of Bill just looking like "Did he really say that? He just said that..." Gotta hand it to him, Bill did really well and I loved hearing his discussions. I definitely gotta watch and read more of his stuff now. I should have never stopped when they stopped showing Bill Nye The Science Guy."
>"I watched the whole thing and started laughing at Bill's face while Ham was talking. I kept waiting to see Ham's face while Bill was talking. I kept waiting..."
>"I didn't finish the debate yet (work) but I did catch a few "angry ham faces". It was nice... The looks they caught on the moderators face a few times were pure gold though!"

The Creation Museum is only about a half hour from where I live. I know several people who really wanted to go, just to see Bill Nye's responses, but tickets for it sold out in less than a day.

Re: A page you simply -must- see!
Well, I could not hold back and had to watch the entire damn thing.
I'm actually not too happy with it. Now, this stance is independent of my opinion that Ham is spouting what we Germans call "gequirlte Scheiße" - "beaten shit" (as, beaten with an eggbeater).
Especially in the Q&A session, I noticed that actually neither was, in many cases, directly answering the questions. Now, yeah, I'd expect someone like Ham to say "there IS no hypothetical" when asked if, in the hypothetical case he did accept the mainstream science view of the age of the universe, would he then still believe in God - and thereby simply evade the question. But Nye did similar things at times. Not to mention he kept plugging that The US will fall behind economically if they stop having correct science education. I guess this really IS something you can't state often enough "over there", but it still kind of irked me as a European.
I was also disappointed Nye never used the rock to bash in Ham's skull. In general, the whole time slice thing seemed stifling. There was never any real possibility for a direct back and forth, I felt.
Also, I have to say, some of the stuff Nye said about astrophysics and cosmology weren't... quite totally correct. Now, I did not actually make notes, but there definitely were several times I grimaced. Oh, yeah, like where he likened the Big Bang to some explosion that then propagated outward, as if matter was expanding in space. Stuff like that.
I now want Richard Dawkins vs. Ken Ham, both in Power Armor .
