Oh, this danish political parti got the right attitude! NFP (Nihilistisk Folkeparti)*. :))
(Directly translated to "Nihilistic People's Party")*
Politicians, talk show hosts and humanistic researchers attempts with college songs, talent shows and collection schemes to convince you that there are still values and visions to fight for. They preach like Bono, Obama, Stalin and Hitler, that politics can make a difference and change the world for the better. But it is a lie!

Politics is completely irrelevant. It is only empty promises, cleavages and emotional manipulation. The entire political reality is a media created illusion that politicians maintain to hide the fact that awareness project ended in total chaos. Civilisation as such has failed!
Sorry if i screwed up in the translation somewhere. Mainly used google translator for it, so any errors i blame on Google. :p

Tumblr ships planets.

It starts out with an innocent little tidbit:

Image
Jupiter may have just saved Earth from a devastating impact event

Something just went down on Jupiter. Monday morning, at 11:35:30 UT, amateur astronomers glimpsed a brief but blazing flash of light in the upper reaches of the planet’s cloudy atmosphere. If past observations are any indication, Jupiter may have just sustained a major impact event. If that’s the case, the gas giant may have just saved Earth from a devastating cosmic collision.
Then someone said Earth/Jupiter OTP!

And then there was fic.

And then there was fanart.

GOD, I LOVE THIS SITE.

I'm looking forward to see Project Eternity. Looks to be the next epic rpg game.
Obsidian Entertainment and our legendary game designers Chris Avellone, Tim Cain, and Josh Sawyer are excited to bring you a new role-playing game for the PC. Project Eternity (working title) pays homage to the great Infinity Engine games of years past: Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment.

Project Eternity aims to recapture the magic, imagination, depth, and nostalgia of classic RPGs that we enjoyed making - and playing. At Obsidian, we have the people responsible for many of those classic games and we want to bring those games back… and that’s why we’re here - we need your help to make it a reality!

*****
Project Eternity will take the central hero, memorable companions and the epic exploration of Baldur’s Gate, add in the fun, intense combat and dungeon diving of Icewind Dale, and tie it all together with the emotional writing and mature thematic exploration of Planescape: Torment.

Combat uses a tactical real-time with pause system - positioning your party and coordinating attacks and abilities is one of the keys to success. The world map is dotted with unique locations and wilderness ripe for exploration and questing. You’ll create your own character and collect companions along the way – taking him or her not just through this story, but, with your continued support, through future adventures. You will engage in dialogues that are deep, and offer many choices to determine the fate of you and your party. …and you'll experience a story that explores mature themes and presents you with complex, difficult choices to shape how your story plays out.

We are excited at this chance to create something new, yet reminiscent of those great games and we want you to be a part of it as well.

#5 YES I DO! It was at my grandmother's with my cousin's kids. I stumbled and nearly fell into the fence.

Doing number 8 is part of the reason #6 is true

...So is #9. I hiss at veggies.

#13 Nope.

#14 Nope.

#20 Nope

22 Yes I do

24 is probably about the loss of childhood dreams of happiness and heaven. It's like when you stop believing in the Easter bunny, etc. I'm betting that's the logic anyway and no I'm not.

It's a nice sentiment. Of course, to me, it'd be nicer if they just did this as an awareness thing since it's Breast Cancer month and all that. They actually do have events where people participating can shave their heads and donate the hair for cancer. I had a friend in Las Cruces who did it a year or two back. Looked like it was a yearly thing. So, there's that.

Milky Way Shows 84 Million Stars in 9 Billion Pixels
Astronomers at the European Southern Observatory’s Paranal Observatory in Chile have released a breathtaking new photograph showing the central area of our Milky Way galaxy. The photograph shows a whopping 84 million stars in an image measuring 108500×81500, which contains nearly 9 billion pixels.
Would that be where you usually work, Don?

If by "usually" you mean "that place in Chile where I have gone to observe several times", then, no. Paranal is where the Very Large Telescope(s) stand, it's kind of the European elite observatory. I just go to La Silla, which is old and run-down and being neglected more and more. :(

If by "usually" you mean "usually", then HELL NO. I live and work in Germany...
