I wonder if I'm the only one who's going crazy for Penelope lately. Her "Oopsie!" face, two strips before, was just adorable... and her naive attempts to push Alex into real-life yaoi are so endearing, I feel I could just eat her up.
Maybe it's the short-haired meganekko thing...

Why should they care? It all seems very commonplace in a high school. It is notable that with all the scantily clad women Alex has been exposed to lately gaming is the one thing that causes sexual arousal. This could be the key to seducing him, but let's recall the last time Eloise cosplayed as a video game character she ultimately lost her modeling gig to Sandra. Seeing as how she blames her for that loss I doubt she's learned a thing.

Speaking of Eloise: I have a feeling she's eventually going to join forces with Eva. It'd be mutually beneficial due to their respective grudges. The best form of revenge is success, after all. It'd give Eva a protegé of her own and Eloise would gain a mentor with clout in the modelling industry.

It might be temporary and they likely wouldn't care if they were just using each other, so long as they could get the better of Zoé and Sandra. Calling it.
