Summary of the Story: The story takes place in an alternate universe from the original. It is about Luna Kajiwara, a girl who lives in Japan 150 years in the future with her single mother Jennifer, where a wealthy family called the Von Bruckens used their wealth to "buy" Japan a little over a century ago, and are now the monarchs while the Japanese people are very poor. The situation becomes so desperate enough for Luna's neighborhood to hatch a plan to make Luna the next queen so that she can save Japan by pooling their money together to get Luna to go to Prince Jonah's school, where she's supposed to woo him into marrying her and compete against his many suitors. But the plan totally neglects Luna's feelings, and she is terribly conflicted, but agrees to act as an agent, but only out of duty for her people.
Final Comments:
It's been so long since I've had time to come back. I wanted to start the doujinshi by November but when I sensed that I should wait for the final book to come out, I decided to hold it off just in case I wanted to take the story in a new direction since I sensed Jonah's mother might get more spotlight due to the cliffhanger in the last book... but by the time I got the last book school had already started and I got booked with work! :R
All thats over now and I plan to update this regularly which is why I made a new topic for it since it'll get harder to keep track of it as time goes on otherwise.
Anyways, I'm glad I waited for the final book. Jonah's mother gave me TONS of ideas, but I never expected she survived, which makes this all the more good for me! I'm very interested in the Von Brucken family, and I even added additions to the family. But more on that later.. ^^;;
