I live in a valley! :D I love it cause there's lots of vegetation. It's on the way east out of the city, towards the mountains :)

#-o Why did I not notice this earlier?
Don Alexander wrote:I'm afraid of heights as well but have never had any problems flying (and if you look at my first post, you'll see I've clocked quite some miles). You are in a closed space, looking out of a small window. It's more like watching a movie on TV then really being seven miles up...
Yeah, I’ve been told that before. But I’m also a worrywart... and the fear of heights isn’t as much of a problem as that is. The fear of heights just makes me worry more about the plane crashing or malfunctioning, because if you’re acrophobic... well, plummeting to the ground from thousands of feet in the air is so not the way to go.

I like Mythiene already! ;)
Poking has become almost a hobby among my circle of friends. We like to give each other a little prod in the shoulder (or leg, if we’re sitting) and say “Poke!” Sometimes we have poking contests; we do it back and forth, back and forth until someone gives up. :p

Oh, and I taught my mother the art of poking. Now she does it to wake up her patients for their medicine. (She is a nurse, and takes care of the old folks at the nursing home.)

That is very amusing. I generally leave them alone though, if they ask me to.

Forumite Google Map

Is anyone still having trouble with the map? (I’ve repeated the link below.)

Ma3 Forumite Google Map

As far as I can tell, you do have to be logged into a Google account to edit it. The quickest way to place a pin is to enter your address in the field to the left of the Google Maps logo at the top, then edit the pin in place. For best results, the pin’s title should be your forum ID (hint, hint, Oni), and the description should be whatever you want it to say. One of you has figured out how to insert photos into the description, I see.

If you're talking of me with the photo... I just put in my whole address, so it's available on street view. If you click the picture, it'll bring you to another window/tab, and then you can click street view under the thumbnail and look around my house by clicking the arrows on the street or dragging the camera view around. The pictures are all google, I didn't put them in. They're just there. *twilight zone music*

I'm on the Googlemap now! :) Rather close to Oni, too... should you all be worried that two troublemakers like us live so close to one another? :ymdevil:

Wasn't me.

And I'm surprised you figured out I'm black. Most people go through a number of guesses because I'm half.
